Perseverance..

I’ve been flippin’ burgers and droppin’ fries, The years went zoomin’ by. Right before my eyes,

Fast food franchises lost their appeal. As the alchies say “everything’s real.”

Low pay, can’t keep up the pace, sooner or later gotta find my place,

Gettin’ sober, focused on my dreams, Can’t catch a break, life ain’t all it seems,

Workin’ night and day, learnin’ all I can. Fallin’ down and gettin’ back up again,

I don’t care what they all say, I’ll wind up with my dream someday.

Graduation’s gettin’ near, Got a great new job, Perseverance payin’ off, And now I am Chef ROB!
