Sobriety is something,
As Gratitude is key,
and with abstinence to drink,
And it always will Be,

I’ve had bad times,
I do agree,
making up rhymes,
Soothes my Serenity..

Though still yet,
Abstinence is my Best Bet,
If I went back,
I’m sure to have a heart attack,

10yrs this year,
Yes in a row,
Since 2012,
When I found Hell,

Visions were bad,
And shaking is worst,
Now im glad,
As my Life was Reimbursed,

Alley ways to Purple Haze,
Nowhere in between,
Cigarettes and sweet iced tea,
No drinking to extreme,

More money my butt,
More to spend on sweets,
Powdered donuts and jelly beans and rotting out my gut,

Boredom, Oh yeah,
Comes with abstinence,
Headaches too, and aspirin,
As it doesn’t make much sense,

Cigarettes driving me nuts,
Too many for sure,
But when I need it bad,
I’m looking for the butts.
