‘A Prayer for Mom’
. I’m praying for my mom,
And my mom alone,
No once else’s health,
Not even my own..
But I invite you to see why,
As I go through these days
wanting to cry,
Faith to be sure,
is necessary in deed,
Losing too many friends
and all I can do is grieve
My boyz, My friends,
and my relatives too,
They’ve come to their ends
As they start anew,
The lose, the pain,
The sadness and turmoil,
I can’t seem to gain,
This year is not Normal,
But you see,
my mom is my mom,
As my dad is my dad.
No-one can replace them,
you’ll see when you get sad.
But the wheezing of her voice,
Is not exactly our choice,
Now mom is weak,
And pain is bad,
Her voice seems to squeak,
And it makes my family sad,
So, you see my friends,
It’s focused on mom,
I can tell it’ll be bad,
By my dad being gone too long,
I understand God shall suffice,
But faith drives the
Question me,
That we live twice!
